Draft Mainframe does not treat every report, metric, or opinion as an equal vote. Its Scouting Layers model evaluates source authority, position expertise, independence, provenance, evidence coverage, film review, and role-specific grading before information can affect a prospect read. Every original layer retains a voice. Repeated or copied claims do not create extra votes, and a projection never becomes proof merely because it is repeated.
SCOUTING LAYERS
Evidence — Scouting Layers
Raw Evidence and Metric Clusters establish the factual base. One active version is retained for each prospect and source stream; an updated report supersedes its prior version instead of adding another vote. Provenance and parent-family controls keep repeated, copied, or aggregated claims from gaining duplicate influence.
Report depth, originality, and claim quality affect only the traits a report actually addresses. Factual verification, contradiction tracking, and rewatch flags keep uncertainty visible. A reports-reviewed count is factual metadata only—not a count of independent voices or Scouting Layers.
External authority hierarchy
- Lead Scout Layer
- Position Expert Layer
- High-Trust Scouting Layer
- Established Scouting Layer
- Emerging Scouting Layer
- Supporting Scouting Layer
- Reference / Market Layer
The hierarchy is a starting position, not an automatic override. Position expertise, claim specificity, report depth, originality, provenance, independence, recency, and active-version status determine usable influence. A detailed lower-layer claim may carry more influence on a specific trait than a shallow higher-layer claim. Every legitimate original layer retains a voice, while the Reference / Market Layer supplies context without an independent original scouting vote.
ONE LEDGER, MULTIPLE ROLES
Traits
Each position owns one frozen trait ledger. Functional role lenses reweight the same verified traits; they do not create alternate facts or a second grade. Production helps locate the evidence. Responsibility must be attributed before the trait moves. Missing work remains unresolved rather than becoming a zero.
WHAT IS PROVEN
Gates
Evidence state records what kind of support exists. Evidence coverage records how much of the required evaluation has been addressed. Essential-function gates protect the traits a role cannot work without, while role viability asks whether the verified function can translate. Projection is not proof, and unresolved work remains visible.
UNRANKED
An active neutral board value is not published.
HOLD
The evaluation is paused for unresolved evidence or verification.
PROVISIONAL
The current read remains explicitly conditional.
RANKABLE
The record is legally eligible to carry a neutral board value under the frozen rules.
These states describe purpose, not an automatic ladder. No state, projection, grade, CPV, DBV, or report automatically assigns Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, a round, or a pick. RANKABLE alone does not assign a Draft Window.
ROLE TRANSLATION
Draft Mainframe System Fit
Draft Mainframe System Fit translates verified traits into the roles, techniques, and deployment conditions in which Draft Mainframe believes the player can deliver the most value.
System Fit follows Gates and remains separate from neutral grade, CPV, and DBV.
DISCIPLINED SYNTHESIS
Final Read
The controlled Final Read sentence architecture moves through six connected parts:
- What creates the player's value.
- The supported role.
- Why the function translates.
- The precise WATCH or limitation.
- The evidence needed to resolve or confirm it.
- Neutral board value only when legally eligible.
When no active value exists, Draft Mainframe shows the truthful in-progress state rather than fabricating a tier.
